There's a reason I have 2 tag lines.
Love like there's no tomorrow... It plays on 'Dance like no one is watching'. Remember, none of us are promised a tomorrow. Love with your whole heart, all the time. Sometimes it only takes a moment to fall in love and you must tell that person because you both deserve that acknowledgement. The scars on your heart from past loves make you who you are. Don't live half a life by hiding what matters to you.
The earliest I can remember reading a full book was in the 2nd grade. My first delve into an authors world was with Beverly Cleary. I wanted, no, needed to be Ramona. (If you know, you know). I graduated to Stephen King, John Saul and Dean Koontz by the time I hit middle school. In high school I started reading my mothers Harlequin romance novels (pretty tame stuff by comparison). Of course, I dove into Anne Rice and that led me down the rabbit hold. The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty (and the sequels) awakened my obsession with erotica and 'open door' smut. I jumped on the 50 Shades bandwagon between absorbing the Potter verse novels. 50 Shades piqued my curiosity into BDSM culture. What every book I've read has in common is that the story in my head continues AFTER the last page. The characters stay with me. They live their lives and continue their adventures, hence... There's always more to the story

It took 3 years to write my first novel. Yes, I have notebooks stored in my closet of stuff I've written dating back to the mid 80s. Short stories, poems, songs and more. If it came into my head, I wrote it down. I Have a permanent notch on the side of my middle finger on my right hand that fits a pencil or pen perfectly.
Once the book was finished, it sat on a USB fob for almost a year, unedited, unformatted and unread by anyone but me. Of course, their story will never be finished, that's how it turned into a series. Neither my husband nor I had the financial ability to shell out tons of money for an editor, graphic designer or formatter, so I began learning. I'm still learning, but it's not about the money. It's all about getting my stories out of my head and into the world. I hope that people enjoy them, but I know that not everything is everyone's cup of tea.

It doesn't always take a village of people. Your village can be filled with anything and everything that helps keep your sanity in check. In my case, it's not always my sanity. Diagnosed with ADHD, Fibromyalgia and Social Anxiety makes life outside difficult most days. That's when it's easiest to escape into my mind, into a world where there's no pain, everything goes the way it should and everyone gets their HEA.
My 2 dogs have their bed under my desk in my office and that's there they stay 99% of the time. While my 13 year old Dachshund sleeps most of the time, my toy Poodle is always ready and willing to listen when mommy bounces ideas off his head. When I'm not writing you can find me playing The Sims 4 or World of Warcraft. My viewing weaknesses are First Responder dramas or movies from the 80s and 90s. I knit, crochet, bead and various other crafts. Anything to keep my brain stimulated even if my hands don't want to work that day.
